The original house, a cottage from the \u201870s, was not expanded. Instead, it has generated the possibility for a new, independent building. The demolition of the pre-existing roof allows using the new roof slab as a garden roof serving the new housing unit. Even though it is located on the same plot of land, the new house offers alternatives to the pre-existing conditions and propose a new, broader landscape.
